The idea behind Tandem Doughnuts began as a quest in 2011, when Beth moved to Missoula from Portland, OR and brought with her a hankering for vegan doughnuts.  After a long and fruitless search, David and Beth decided together that the gluten-free and vegan citizens of Missoula deserved a doughnut of their own.  So Beth and David spent their first winter in Montana perfecting their formula. In 2012 the first Tandem Doughnuts were a hit at the Clark Fork Farmers' Market.  Since then the menu has expanded to include amazing breads, rolls, and English Muffins--all handcrafted with the same care and creativity that made their doughnuts famous.  In 2014 Tandem Doughnuts went wholesale and now their delicious goodies can be found all week long at distributing businesses throughout the Missoula valley.

Tandem Doughnuts is Beth Gherlein and David Tyson:

vegan and gluten-free food lovers, bakers, and tandem bicycle enthusiasts.
